Frequently Asked Questions
From what age is it advisable to use the sleep sack?
We recommend using the sleep sack from 12 months onwards.
When they have greater mobility and move more naturally during sleep. Before that, we suggest age-appropriate sleep sacks.
What are your safeguards like?
Our changing pads are made from an extremely high-quality fabric. A fine, 100% cotton fabric that is breathable and waterproof.
For the sleeping bags, we use a baby-specific Velcro fastening system.
My daughter is going to the nursery for the first time. Which sheets do you recommend?
Sleeping bags are the most complete and versatile model. They have padding at the top and bottom, increasing comfort and the feeling of a cozy nest.
They have a waterproof lining that improves hygiene and often eliminates the need to wash the sleeping bag every week.
Regarding temperature, the padding in the sleeping bags is medium, so they can be adapted throughout the year depending on what the child wears. However, the summer/winter sleeping bag option features a removable duvet. It comes with a duvet cover. You can remove the padding and use just the sheet to cover the child.
There is also an option of fitted sheets for school: two options with exactly the same dimensions, perfect for bunk beds.
- The "Manel" model is the simplest. It only has the envelope-style sheet fabric;
- The "Benjamim" sheets.
They come with a duvet cover + duvet and the option to use them with or without the duvet, avoiding blankets or throws that end up on the floor.
What is the difference between a BENJAMIM SHEET and a SLEEPING BAG?
The sleeping bag is more complete. It has padding at the bottom, a zipper, and fits perfectly on a crib mattress.
The fitted sheets have an envelope system and only have padding on top. They do not have a waterproof layer.
Can the sleeping bag (bed rails/cot/travel) be used at school and at home?
Yes, the elastic straps fit perfectly on both a crib mattress and a school cot.
What are the washing instructions?
Machine wash at up to 30°C. Iron cold, maximum temperature 110°C. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
It is important to follow the care instructions to ensure the durability of the product.
WHO ALREADY USES IT
What families and creators say
“Super practical, waterproof sleeping bag. When they have accidents, it makes things much more hygienic and practical. Just remove the liner, wash it, and reuse it. For now, I’m going to use it for weekend getaways, and the bed always stays made. I take it everywhere.
”
“This thing is spectacular, what I have on Benedita's bed. It has a side fastening and is spectacular for keeping her covered all night. She can move around freely because it is the size of the bed. It attaches to the bed with elastic on the mattress and doesn't move out of place. It attaches at the top and at the bottom it has a removable pad, when it gets dirty you take it off. It is plastic-coated. I have this one on her bed, but I think I will buy another one when she goes to school, because she has to take sheets. This is spectacular and adapts to any bed, it rolls up and doesn't take up any space. A spectacular idea. We are very happy she has loved it and has been sleeping here very happily.
”
“Instead of taking sheets to school, he always takes this sleeping bag. Normally, the sleeping bag stays at school and only the liner is taken out to be washed. The sleeping bags fasten to the school beds. It's the coolest thing ever. It was invented by a Portuguese mother who is also a teacher. It really is very handy.
”
“Not only does this sleeping bag keep them from kicking off the covers all night, but it’s also super practical for taking to school, for example. High-quality comfort, complete with an embroidered name. And today, Gui really won’t fall out of bed! Solution: a minobabies sleeping bag. Mission accomplished.
”
“Perfect for the nursery, cot-sized.
”
“I’m going to tell you about this sleeping bag we’ve been using since the Savior moved to the crib. Ready for nap time. Super comfortable and cozy. It has a side zipper that opens all the way and zips shut. That way, they can’t kick it off, and it goes everywhere with us.
”
“I brought this sleeping bag from Minôbabies, which is super practical and warm.
”
“For me, only the most original and well-thought-out. To take on a trip in your suitcase, it takes up no space at all. 100% cotton made in Portugal.
